Years in the future, humanity's progression into space is threatened. Project Jupiter is launched to investigate the moon that’s thought to be causing this threat. Mercury “Kat” Katczinsky wakes up alone after a critical airlock failure as the only member of Project Jupiter still alive. They alone must continue the mission and save humanity. But first, they need to remember who they are and why they’re here. With all systems offline, returning to Earth is a far-fetched dream. Can they save humanity and find their way home across the solar system? And can they do it before their time runs out and they’re pulled off course by the very moon they were sent to investigate?

FUCK Project Jupiter. They just tried to recruit people in front of me and I interrupted and told them the truth. The recruiter was dancing around what the project was so I told them. They want to build AI data centers here in NM.

So these two CDs were released on April 15! Honestly I was hyped up for both of them when they came out haha. Below is my review of them:

THE IDOLM@STER SideM ST@RTING LINE-01 Jupiter Jupiter’s just... Jupiter haha. I really like the cover art and Touma’s hot as always. x3 (I may have a bias towards him haha) Anyway, I enjoyed this CD way more than their IM@S 2 CD from a couple years ago. Both “BRAND NEW FIELD” and “Planet Scape” are really good songs. I particularly like the beginning of “Planet Scape”. (I didn’t realize that it was named that PROBABLY because Jupiter is a planet? I feel stupid haha)

THE IDOLM@STER SideM ST@RTING LINE-02 DRAMATIC STARS As for Dramatic Stars, I REALLY liked the preview of their CD. They casted pretty good voice actors for these three (Tsubasa reminded me of Makoto from Free! though, so maybe Suzuki Tatsuhisa would’ve also been a good fit for Tsubasa?). Tendo’s seiyuu reminded me of Touma’s a little, and Kaoru’s seiyuu can sing really well haha. As for the songs, I liked “STARLIGHT CELEBRATE!” because it was more upbeat and probably fit their group more than “DRAMATIC NONFICTION”. (They did the naming thing again with “starlight” and “dramatic” haha. I swear I don’t notice this until it’s too late.)
