#project dimension

My friends and I, working together, have created Project Dimension.

Project Dimension is an organization with a goal to help women of all ages remember that they are equal to everyone else in the gaming community. As we branch out into different games and different genres, we hope to make a statement that says women can be just as good at games as everyone else and hope that more women will gain the courage to compete in the pro-gaming scene. Gender discrimination in the gaming community has gone on for too long and has caused many women, including my friends and I to give up on online competitive gaming; that is, until we decided that it is was about time for us women to pick our controllers up and get into the competitive servers to show just what we're made of! 

Our symbol is a flower called a Protea. Proteas symbolizes progression, change, and transformation across cultures. 

Project Dimension is not associated with any other feminists organizations and we do not wish to make anyone lesser than us, so please keep whatever negative opinions you may have out of this. Instead, show your positive support for women. Again, I will repeat that we are not against any gender joining us. We are only cautious because of how this server could possibly be interpreted and want to avoid being harassed by anyone who is against this idea. In mine and several friends of mine’s experience, not a lot of guys took us too seriously or wanted to play with us after we revealed our gender or they asked. Again, we are cautious, not against.

One last time, I will say we are not against anyone joining, we just prefer to welcome positive support for our organization.
