getting emotional about this film again, going to rewatch it soon. maybe I’ll do a series of sketches from it?? one of my favorite things about this movie is the quiet, tender moments, like preparing food, picking herbs, waking up with a period, sitting and smoking. the three of them just communicate in the sweetest ways, and they don’t have to say much. this scene where they eat together and play cards and laugh and sip wine is just.. perfect
