The EVA horse really grinds your gears huh? How come?
Cause it just drives home once and for all how much of a moneymaking ploy the Rebuild movies are. You'd think it would have been that ridiculous schick razor advertisement that got it for me, and I don't know why it didn't, maybe because it was at least funny. But really, how am I supposed to respect this new vision of Eva if they think Evangelion and horse racetracks go together well enough to warrant an endorsement/partnership/WHATEVER THE HECK THIS IS? The amount of pimping of the characters completely out of context in order to sell things has really, finally gotten me good, and I am 99% done with this. The remaining 1% is just fan-obligation and is still strong enough to make me watch the remaining movies but I highly doubt I'll have much respect for the result at this point.
I can safely say I've ridden the high from the 3.0 trailer as far as it could go and am now sinking in an ocean of withering dreams
