It's also part of the reason I didn't make prof!reader be in the exact same field as Spencer, it'll be too competitive and we'll have an entirely different vibe between them. It also makes them a little more dynamic as partners because they're coming into topics from different perspectives. Obviously not a perfect example, but I love talking to my brother about historical movies and films bc he studied history and is pursuing his master's, I'm doing literature, so our approach to watching these things are different and it's soooo fun to just yap and learn.
