For this assignment, I am focusing on two pairs of dress pants that I purchased to show the differences in sizes between the two. The grey pair was purchased from Van Heusen and the navy was purchased from Tommy Hilfiger. The navy size is typically I size that I buy all my pants in (shorts, capris, jeans), yet when I went to Van Heusen I had to purchase a size up. When thinking about why the same style of pant may run differently in different stores can depend upon a lot of different factors. The type of material used, the cut or style of the pant, or the type of waistband that is used. Through this assignment I learned that nobody has one specific size that they are because designers all differ in the way they make their clothing
