The young man seemed a little caught off guard by her. Perhaps she had pulled him out of a deep concentration. Rey tilted her head at his words. Like us? Could he too understand the strange sensations that caused hairs to stand on the back of her neck? And how she just could feel and sense things she’d otherwise not be able to? Brown eyes widened at the sleek tool safely stashed inside his jacket. Recognizing the discreet move, Rey lowered her voice and dropped closer to the table. “You’re a...jedi?” She excitedly whispered. Master Luke had told his pupil he was not the last, and now she was starting to believe it. 

“Boyfriend? What boyfriend? I have no idea what you’re talking about,”

Jaina groaned, running a hand through her dark hair in a frustrated manner. “That is Jag being the idiot he is. Except this time he got Zekk and Poe caught up in his nonsense too. No one is ‘winning my shirt’ in a bet,” she continued, air quotes included. “Honestly. Sometimes I wonder if the celibate ways of the old order are actually the way to go,” she said, rolling her eyes.  

“Anakin, what are you- you’re not bothering Jar Jar again, are you?”

I got swole years ahead of you, young man.

“i’m already swole. catch up.”

  “These disguises are horrible. How long do you think we need ‘em before we can ditch them?”
