About the Procube WiiU Controller
So as I've posted before, I bought a Procube Controller for the WiiU. It was something that I've been looking forward to ever since Hyperkin first announced it and after playing a few different Games with it for about a week now, I can safely say that I'm very happy with it.
The first Game that I've played with it and so far it's best suited Game (In my opinion at least) is Mario Kart 8, the Controller itself feels natural but here it feels even more so and while I may just be imagining it, I feel like I've been able to step up my Game here even more ever since I started using it.
The second Game I've tried it with is Super Mario 3D World and well I really cant say that this is a Game that will give you any special benefit from using a different controller, it's fun with the Procube(I really don't know what else to say here)
And the last Game that I've tried it with, and arguably the most important test, is Smash Bros U and here you could tell that it's a 3rd party Controller that pays homage to the GC Controller and not the Genuine Article as with the other Games I've played it with I've felt no issues but here I could tell that the Analog Stick isn't quite as responsive as the Genuine GC Controller. It's not bad and there isn't any real lag that I could truly notice but as someone who has used a real Gamecube Controller from Mellee through Brawl to Smash U from it's release until now, It did not feel the same.
All in all though I'm truly glad I bought it as it's a great Controller and has made the WiiU feel like a new Gamecube in a way and if the NX does turn out to be backwards compatible with WiiU Games and accessories then you can be sure that I'll be using it there and if it'll work with any NX Games then that'll be even better.
So with all that said, I truly recommend the WiiU Procube Controller, spend the $30 and give your WiiU Games a Gamecube feel.
