CAN ART HELP TO SOLVE A SOCIAL ISSUE?
An art project is able to gather a community and makes it work for a common good. It would be awful if art couldn’t make us feel sensitive and closer to our social environment. If we understand the reality where we live in, we should share through art, ideas that reflect our position and way of thinking about this topic. Art can cause in someone an uplifting attitude towards live. I do think art can help to solve a social issue because it causes a reaction in their viewers. The more lifelike and dramatic paintings are the best ones. Contemporary art has shown us that people nowadays are more open minded and they wouldn’t mind to join new ways of protest. I’m not saying that art can hundred percent solve a social issue but it can make people minds and hearts move in the same direction, which is a big progress.
Grip someone’s attention it’s not difficult at all but make them stay is somenthing that only art can genuinely do.
