I just realized something...
I should be unbelievably proud of myself for the last 2 weeks. I spent a lot of time watching my friends house while her family was on vacation. While there I was doing, and still am doing, a 30 day challenge, which means no gluten, no sugar, and smaller portions of food to try and detox my body and shed some of the extra me. Now, my friend's mom is a chocoholic, so naturally there was chocolate all over her house. The entire time I was there, I did not eat one speck of chocolate! With the sweet tooth I had, that is a major accomplishment. Also, yesterday at work, one of my coworkers got a whole package of cookies. He told me to help myself and even though they were taunting me, I didn't eat any. So, though i may have eaten a few portions that were larger than they should have been, I have stuck with the program and only had minimal snacks when I was very hungry and not had any gluten or sugar.
I am so proud of myself for resisting the things that I don't need in my life right now. Maybe someday those things could be a small part of my routine, but for now, they are cut out.
I'm gonna keep going and hopefully become the best version of myself!
