In December 2023 I bought this ring while on a business trip and scrolling a small viking Christmas market one evening (I still assume that's exactly where I caught covid during that trip, buuuut let's ignore that). I had hence forgotten about the rings existence again since, you know, what you don't see doesn't exist.

I just remembered said ring again (I assume due to intense smithing workshop preparation for tomorrow's workshop) and was like, damn girl, where did you put it. Because I couldn't remember when I saw that ring for the last time, much less where I had put it down. I know I've worn it a few times after the trip, but that is literal ages ago and it was never seen again.

Then I was like, okay, think think think where are possible spots where you might have put it down - and what have you done with said possible spots things that sometimes live in those spots and sometimes don't. Because mind me, I'm neither good in Giving Things Dedicated Places nor in keeping places tidy.

Then I was mentally going through places, noping most of them out.

Checked one possible place out in person, but nope.

Checked another possible-even-if-unlikely place out - JACKPOT!

So holy cheesecake, I'm both very annoyed by all the stupid adhd traits that caused all this in the first place, and amazed by still having some kind of system in all the chaos.

Ring retrieved. I'm so happy (until I again forget about the rings existence 🤷 or maybe, just maybe, this will be the reason to find my small number of jewelry finally a Dedicated Place To Live).
