I also think some sanses would be less in need of a tail . plus they aren't really born so it might be something aesthetic... also, maybe for Cross itd be shorter/trimmed because of Gaster, while someone like Ink or the DT twins don't have them at all

I see people sometimes giving the Sanses tails, and I'm trying to think of something outside of just "it's a really cool style" to theorize about, like biologically
