The one thing I *will* give Davis credit for is that he didn't write a "redemption arc" for Allison. She said, "I made mistakes, Gerard was not my fault." while condemning Derek for being like Gerard, then had her spend a season saving lives and kicking ass. She didn't even really apologize to Isaac and I think it can be read that she thinks neither she nor Isaac need to apologize for what adults manipulated them into doing. And fuck the twins, honestly.
I mean, I feel like Allison didn't apologize because she thought Isaac wouldn't accept it - like she said, "would you accept an apology?" in the closet scene in 3A. To me it read like she thought Isaac wouldn't forgive her and that it was ok because I don't think she's entirely forgiven herself, not necessarily for what she did to Isaac/Boyd/Erica, but for "failing" or being "weak"? :( The way she hallucinates her mother viciously criticizing her - idk I worry that she thinks she doesn't deserve appreciation or love, I just worry a lot about her, more than I do Scott or Stiles tbh.
Personally I would have liked to see SOME kind of seriously talk between Isaac and Allison, like some kind of heart-to-heart, because SERIOUSLY HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SHIP ALLISAAC LIKE THIS??? I'm so damn annoyed that TW constantly plays off the aftermath of abuse or trauma or violence for ~comedic relief~ and then tries to hand-wave it away. This isn't a complaint against Allison, because haha we have Scott throwing Isaac into walls for shits and giggles, Melissa being more concerned for her wall than Isaac, and also Stiles making light of Isaac's abuse.
I JUST. I will multiship anything unless it squicks me or is too problematic or has a terrible fandom (see: peter/anyone, stydia, sterek) and I'm trying so hard to board the Allisaac ship, but fuck if they aren't making it near impossible by making Allisaac all "funny" moments OUT OF MOMENTS THAT HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING PLAYED FOR LAUGHS, without any heart behind it. The Stydia scene last episode had more heart behind it than all of Allisaac has had all damn season.
But yeah. Also, fuck the twins haha DIE you bastards
