With the success of Future Week now behind us, I figure it’s time for another prompt! This idea came to me following a couple people mentioning how they felt they were struggling to think up connections and plots. I won’t lie, I’ve also been approached about a small number of people bubbling, something I have kept a very close eye on, especially as of late, and cannot say that I agree with. However, I have taken that into account with this prompt.

Liking the post will add you to my list, so if you’d like to participate on multiple/all characters, be sure to like it from each account.
Now, the actual prompt! It’s rather simple: I will be pairing everybody up, and each pair will be given a topic (if applicable--if you decide you’d like to come up with your own topic, that is 100% fine with me). You will basically take the topic and come up with a plot based on it between your two characters, which you will then need to play out in the game. I’ll be pairing people up based on activity and whether they have interacted very much in the past or not.
This is an opportunity to expand your connections, and perhaps add a little variety to your current plots. Not that I’d say anybody needs more variety, but expanding the list of those we connect with is always a good idea.

Now that I’ve received most of the future week submissions (if you’re yet to send yours, check this post), I figure it’s a good time to have everybody start their profiles. These are basically just more in depth versions of your summaries. They should include the following pieces of information for your character in future week:
Your character’s name (are they married? etc).
Your character’s age.
Where they live.
Where they’re staying for the week and who with.
What they do for work.
Their relationship status.
Important connections (business partners, significant others, etc. not things like ‘friends’ or ‘siblings’).
A summary of what they’ve been up to over the past eight years/where they’re at now. Like the original submissions to the main, but feel free to go into more detail~
What their aesthetic is like (has it changed over the past 8 years?)
Optional aesthetic picture.
A brief description of their personality. Basically whether they’ve changed or not over the years.
How you set it out is entirely up to you! There’s an example right here, which you’re totally welcome to use as the format for your own. Likewise, feel free to switch things up!
These should not be posted until future week officially begins (12 am est on Saturday 21st!), and should be tagged privprompt: 008, so everyone can see not only in that tag, but also if they go to your page and are curious about any of that information pertaining to your character during future week, they can just add /tagged/privprompt:+008 to your URL and find out all they need to know.
Our eighth prompt, back by overwhelmingly popular demand, is a brand new Future Week! I must stress before I go any further that this is not an extension of our first Future Week, and I have deleted the old Future Week profiles page to reflect this. Please disregard all of our first Future Week’s events when making your plans.

Eight years have passed, meaning we’re going to be in the year 2025. Pacific State has just suffered a devastating loss, with the passing of its founder, Margaret Dupree. While it’s unlikely that any former students knew Margaret personally (therefore, most likely won’t be too personally impacted by the news) she gave them a safe place to further their education, and everyone is invited back for a week of celebrating her life and paying their respects. The week is intended to honor Margaret’s life and achievements, rather than to mourn her, with a party being thrown in her honor midway through the week. This leaves plenty of time for past friends to catch up before, during and after.
With many parting ways after graduation, there will be a lot to catch up on. Many people will have relocated, with some even losing touch with their old peers. Regardless, let’s consider this week as something of a reunion.
Perhaps your character fell off the grid after college? Perhaps they became majorly successful? Maybe they opted for a quieter life, or one revolving around marriage and children (please, not too many of these). Whatever the outcome, we’re sure everybody is interested to snoop into each other’s lives.

On the other hand, a lot can change in eight years. Perhaps your character has ties to another character who they may not really interact with much currently? Really, the more random, the better. Get creative!
If any events from your form involve another character or characters, you must discuss this with them, and both/all must state the same thing on your form so I know you’re in agreement.
If your character is involved with an NPC or has a child, and you’ve picked out a face claim for them, please include this in the form.
Once I receive your character’s form, I will add the information to this page, so everybody can see what your character has been up to.

With most current students leaving for Thanksgiving, all past students are welcomed back for a week of honoring their alma mater. Classes will be cancelled for the week beginning Monday, November 21st, with a party being thrown on campus the following evening. This leaves plenty of time for past friends to catch up before, during and after.
With many parting ways after graduation, there will be a lot to catch up on! Many people will have relocated, with some even losing touch with their old peers. Regardless, let’s consider this celebratory week as something of a reunion.

*I only want to see very short, precise summaries here. We will be posting longer versions of these on our character pages once future week starts. For now, things such as explanations as to where money came from/how characters feel about things, etc, is not necessary.
