the drive to boston was long to say the least, but between their frequent change overs and motel stops it was manageable. sal drove them into the dunkin doughnuts drive through queue -- another coffee run to keep them going. “ what are you having? “ he asked, “-- hand me some cash out of my bag will you? “  no harm now, he supposed. she’d already seen it... “ just be discreet. “
