lore crumbs for today:
esteban's favourite food: nowadays some kind of warm soup*, preferably one with vegetables. also ate mushroom soup in the station’s cafeteria once and liked it a lot, courtesy of samuel's good will. eating seafood makes him feel oddly satisfied in an almost animalistic way, so he avoids it. His body responds best to meat.
esteban's favourite drink: there’s not a lot of choice for his rank, so. Bitter vending machine tea and watery cocoa on very bad days. once again, enjoys teas that samuel is brewing, since they're higher quality. as a human it would probably be a cheap, tongue staining slushy.
the manifestation of proteus's puddle killed everyone in the nemo point station - invocation corp was called to investigate the accident. immediately they bought the right to be the sole investigator, turning the marine research facility into a fissure examination facility instead, dubbed "Station Neptune". the branch of invocorp that takes care of the facility is called Invocorp:Nemo Branch (I:NB).
*esteban constantly feels cold and is cold to the touch. it's like the ghost of the fractal deep lives within him... ironically though, he feels less cold when in the deep.
