May 22nd, 2015, PRITZ released: Crazy Cowboy
Pritz (프리츠) was a metal inspired k-pop girl group active from 2014-15. The group made their official debut in 2014, with a concept very similar to the Japanese girl group BabyMetal, which inevitability lead to a lot of criticism and Pritz being called knockoffs. Their debut caused a major controversy due to the girls wearing armbands resembling ones worn by nazis. They group denied any associations with nazis and said that they didn’t realise their outfits where similar and that the inspiration for the armbands where inspired by a traffic sign. The group used their armbands in a couple of performances which also did not help this controversy at all. Towards the end of 2014 they released their second single ‘‘SoraSora’‘ which was better received, but their image was still tarnished by their last scandal and even more now did the similarities between Pritz and BabyMetal get called out. The group then release ‘Crazy Cowboy’ which at some point after it’s release got taken down from their official YouTube Channel, their Official Facebook stopped updating in mind 2015 and nothing has been heard from the group since.
