Ah, good old alternate universes are back in the DC realm. Alternate universes are always really interesting read because it allows the writers to experiment with more radical changes on familiar heroes, such as killing off main characters and other big changes that usually canβt be done with the main universe.
Speaking of killing off, there is definitely plenty of that going on here. Parademons lead by Steppenwolf are ravaging the earth and in a last ditch effort, Batman devises a suicide mission to destroy the parademons. During the fight Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman are all killed, leaving Earth-2 without a hero. That might have to change as Mercury arrives on Earth to warn a possible Earth-2 Flash about an incoming danger.
