The thing is: Alex usually isn't a LIGHT sleeper, mainly because he's always kind of exhausted, pushing himself to the brink in everything he does, so whenever he does sleep, he's out cold. It's not like that when Henry's around. They had spent at least ten minutes earlier arguing about who gets to sleep in the bed, and even though Alex isn't one to back down from an argument, Henry had simply laid down on the couch and pretended to be asleep so Alex could take the bed.
Maybe THAT'S also the reason he instantly finds himself awake when the mattress dips ever so slightly, blinking his eyes open. "Henry?" he mumbles sleepily. "Everything okay?"
