Imagine Lario accidentally bumping into Lidith in the library, causing her to drop a pile of books she was holding. "O-Oh!" she quietly exclaims. "I'm sorry about that, Lario..." She kneels down to pick them up, only for the archer to scoop the books up as quickly as he could. "No no, ah, please excuse me, Princess," he bows as he hands over her books. "That was rude of me.""Oh, don't be silly," she giggles. "You didn't mean to, after all..." There's an awkward silence. "I... I should...get going." Lario then spins on his heel and briskly walks away. "O-Okay..." The Princess looks down, brushing a lock of hair out of her face. Liza, who was peeking around the corner, then approaches Lidith with a small grin. "So, Lidith...""Oh, hello Liza...""Didja strike out with Lario again?" the witch giggles teasingly. The Earth Unit blushes and looks in the direction Lario had left. "I-It's not like that!" she protests. "Where are you getting these ideas?...""Mmmm-hmmm...""Alright... I find Lario's company...very enjoyable...""Hehe, knew it.~ Say, Leon and I're goin' to the new cinema tomorrow night. Wanna come? He might bring Lario.""Oh... Alright."Meanwhile..."The cinema?" The thief says with a swoon. He gets smacked in the head. The next night...Liza, Leon, Lario, and Lidith all take a seat in the theater (in that order.) The movie happens to be a romantic drama (much to Leon's apparent distaste.) About halfway through the movie, the main lead is standing in the middle of the rain with his love interest. Imagine the two playing up to a kiss scene. Lario looks over to see Leon drape his arm over Liza's shoulder. The thief shoots him a look, as if to tell him to do the same. Lario instead looks away in discomfort. Liza then whispers something to Leon, and they both stand and leave without so much as an explanation. But as they watch, Lario and Lidith don't complain. The actors in the movie lean in to kiss. And Lario feels Lidith's hand touch his on the armrest. He looks over at her, and she smiles sweetly. He smiles back, and allows her to lean on his shoulder. Leon and Liza, who relocated to sit with some of their friends, silently cheer at their successful plan. Oh but it doesn't end there. Imagine other friends of the blooming couple also setting Lario and Lidith up.One instance involves the pair eating at Lan-Lan with Aisha and Zephu, only for THOSE two to be called to the courtyard by Weiss (who was going along with it) right before Lancia serves up a plate of spaghetti for the two Earth Units to share. Imagine the classic same-noodle-kiss plays out, and the two are blushing until after dinner. Then there's another instance where Selena and Vargas are put in charge of leading them to the Earth Garden to meet at the fountain. The Princess and her archer do meet and sit on the edge of the fountain, as they discuss the other units' shenanigans."So those other guys," Lario mumbles as he sweeps his hair back, "apparently... What's the word the Summoner keeps saying? Ship. They ship us, hm?""I guess so..." Lidith replies as she moves a little closer. "Do you find it bad?""No, in fact. I like being with you.""I like being with you too..."They lean on each other as they gaze up. Meanwhile, in Liza's room..."Alright!" Liza squeals as she gazes through her binoculars. "We did it gang! We got 'em together!"The small band of units who helped with the set-up cheer.
