The Southern Water Kingdom short bio
The Southern Water Kingdom was formed five years after the Hundred-Year War. The Southern Water Kingdom came into formation when the remaining autonomous tribes agreed to unite and form one large nation. With the assistance the Fire Nation (mainly due to Princess Azula’s relationship with Sokka), the Southern Water Kingdom became a powerhouse. Many citizens from the Northern Water Tribe immigrated to the South when they got wind of the formation of the Kingdom.
Many Cities were formed across the land and its territories , with Hakoda’s former village, now named Harbor City, became the capital of the Southern Water Kingdom. Head Chieftain Hakoda became the first king of the Kingdom, with Sokka as Crown Prince and heir to the throne.
Fire Nation Crown Princess Azula would eventually become the first Queen of the Southern Water Kingdom after marrying Prince Sokka, who became King after his father abdicated the throne to enjoy the rest of his life with Ursa.
I got tagged by breeilnabane :D Thanks, lovely.
Rule 1 - Post the rules. Rule 2 - Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post and then make 11 new ones. Rule 3 - Tag 11 people and link them to your post. Rule 4 - Let them know you’ve tagged them.
1. Favorite board game?
I hardly ever play board games anymore, but as a little kid, I liked LIFE and Chutes & Ladders.
2. What's one of your pet-peeves?
I hate it when people chew with their mouth open. The sound is just really really gross.
3. If you could have wings, what color, pattern type, etc. would they be?
Hm... my wings would probably be bright blue. Or grey. They'd be like the typical angel wings you see in drawings. The little ones, not the long, pretty ones. I think short would suit me better.
4. You wake up and the sun isn't shining. The reason for that is...
I've either sleepwalked into my closet or stayed up so late the night before that I've woken up in the middle of the night thinking it's morning.
5. Favorite catch-phrase?
I quite like "Allons-y!" as said by Ten and "Brilliant!" as said by Arthur Shappey.
6. Best ice cream flavor?
Mint chocolate chip for sure!
7. You can choose one new sport to do (you can still do whatever you’re currently in.) and you are magically spectacular at whatever it is. What would you choose?
Probably volleyball. I already enjoy it, but being really good at it would make it a lot more fun.
8. If you could live one day in the past, what day would it be?
Hmm... I'd really like to go back to the 1600s and live for a day during the Renaissance era. Or the Enlightenment. It would be incredible to be there for the discovery of arts and science and to see people becoming independent for the first time.
9. What is your computer (or phone) wallpaper and why?
I have a netbook, so I can't change my computer wallpaper D: My phone has three front pages where I can set wallpapers. The first one is John and Sherlock, the second one is the Doctor and his TARDIS, and the third one is Arthur and Merlin. OTPhone!
10. What's best prank you have ever pulled off (or want to)?
I've never really done/thought of an elaborate prank. My cousin and I once hid fake bugs in my grandma's bed before she came in to go to sleep and she flipped out. Lame, I know, but as a seven-year-old, it was funny.
11. Favorite character ‘defect’ (I know you have one you secretly like.) about yourself?
Er... a fault I like about myself? Probably that I'm really loyal to anyone who is nice enough to like me. I'm like a lost puppy, in a way. I love anyone who will bother to notice my existence, even if they don't return it. It's a curse in some ways, because I get overly-attached sometimes.
So! Eleven new questions!
1. What is one thing you are really looking forward to?
2. Do you cross off days on your calendar? Why or why not?
3. What is (or was) your best/favorite subject in school and why?
4. You can go anywhere and do anything for a whole day, without budget restraints or penalties later. What do you do? Where do you go?
5. Favorite song lyric(s)?
6. One person you admire and why.
7. Favorite time of the year?
8. Someone you couldn't live without.
9. What do you think the best feeling in the world is?
10. If you could ask your hero three questions, what would you ask?
11. What is your favorite word (in any language) ?
The Trail of Death
Today I have experienced the most different, random, and miserable trek in my life. So my friend, Sam is sleeping over tonight. We went for a walk since my development has a trail out to the bay. The main trail is paved and we went to the nearest beach and stupidly threw logs into the ocean. We followed a smaller path that branched from the paved trail, throwing increasingly larger logs and sticks into the water. We tried to throw a bench, but realized it was made of cement. And Sam said that if she could air bend she would be able to move it. The path runs parallel with my development which is like half a mile away and in between the path and the rest of civilization ran a nasty creek. Both the creek and the bay is filled with the most disgusting water, we call sludge. Many people usually go on the main trail to jog and stuff to a nearby park. But now we were quite far and my mom told me that once, when she was on this trail a crazy guy came up to her and flashed her. Knowing this, Sam and I grabbed logs to prepare ourselves to hit and stab creepers in their eyes. By then the path was just dirt, no more gravel or cement. Seeing a bridge in the distance, we continued. Soon the path was running right next to the creek, like if we slid we would have fallen in to the sludge. Both of us were wearing rainbow flipflops and her's were new too. The ground was all muddy. And there was a section of the path where half of it was breaking off and I was freaking out cause I'm the kind of person, who always trips on herself and would easily slip in the mud. And Sam was like if I can earth bend, I would rip of this chunk of land and we could float back to the other side. Well this story is getting kinda boring... Lemme skip ahead. So the trail just gets smaller and smaller and it never meets the bridge. And it finally ends and we are standing in this field. There is like a layer of plants but it was water below. We freak out because we were getting wet and were scared of creatures that might've eaten us. Then it starts raining! And we see people across this creek and we scream for help, but it was so windy no one heard us. And since I live like a couple miles from an airport, we saw dozens of plains flying overhead and we screamed and waved at those too. We decided to just retrace our tracks, which we had both thought about doing earlier, but didn't. We had already walked like a mile. So we just slowly walk home. I am still holding my log, ready to like defend myself. It was so pretty though. It was almost sunset and you could see the rays of sunlight through nasty gray clouds. Oh how I love the bay area. So we get home, tired, and we feasted on my mom's chinese food. Then we washed our feet with this body scrub that Sam made me and they're softer than ever. Our friend who lives like a block from me told us that there were stingrays in the river. We had actually contemplated crossing it. Now I've got cuts from tripping on death plants and my flipflops are drenched in sludge. If you read this, wow, I admire you're patience. And sorry that it wasn't as interesting written out. Also, check out Sam's blog, ask her about the body scrub or something. >>> princesokka.tumblr.com <<<
