Of course I am excited to finally arrive at Bloodhaven, but I cannot deny, I am also immensely overwhelmed as I take my first few steps in. This is my first formal occasion since stepping into my role as prince just a few months ago.. Despite being all dolled up in frills and bows, I can't help but feel like an impostor among the rest of the guests present. Because I grew up in the ways of village life, the expectations and formalities of anything royal are so very beyond me. My mind overthinks every little interaction, every possible mistake I could make during the ball. I let out a small sigh as I anxiously tug on the ruffles of my sleeve. Everything will be fine. I just need to remain calm.
My eyes glance around from guest to guest attempting to find any familiar face nearby. My search proves unsuccessful, and I find myself in a quiet corner, leaning against a wall to give myself a moment of peace from my worries.
Hopefully the delicate lace on my sleeve won't be too ruined by all my small, nervous pullings and tugs!
