Goretober Day 5 - Stitches
My goretober list
A bit of story behind the drawing below the cut.
These two are my old characters, two of nine celestial creatures, Cosmic Princes. The orange one is known as Prince of Nebulae and the black one is his brother, Prince of Void.
These cosmic creatures are able to manipulate energy. They are born in perfect, humanoid shape, but can experience death. It desorts them, making them less and less “human-like”, and giving them minds of beasts.
The Prince of Nebulae was known for stealing energy from his brothers, using their creations to make his beautiful nebulae, as he wasn’t able to create new objects, just to arrange them to his desire. Prince of Stars, one that experienced death with every star that he created, was at this point a violent creature, looking more like a monster than a man. He was endlessly annoyed by his brother’s actions and thus he imprisoned him and tortured him, by hanging him tied up with thin strings of light, on a celestial body of massive gravity. His body was collapsing under its own weight, cutting itself open with thin ropes.
His body was dismembered, yet he was still alive. Left alone by Prince of Stars and was found by the closest brother to him, Prince of Void, who offered to finish him off, so Nebulae Prince would be reborn. He refused, not wanting to make any further damage to his mind, and thus Prince of Void set him free and sewed him back together, for which Prince of Nebulae was grateful for centuries.
