Today’s #Mermay #2018 #prompt was #threaten. I kinda tried to go a little artsy with this one and not color perfectly in the lines on purpose. #mermaid #merman #merboy #merboi #markers #pencil #gelpen #primsa #devil #evil #flyingfish #merfolk #mermay2018 #may #may2018 #underthesea #tombancroft #tombancroft1. I put Gilda in the Prisma app
I have been playing with prisma, which layers your photos with filters based off various paintings/drawings. One is the scream, there's a Norman Roswell and a Turner and then there's a bunch of cool other styles. So that's a bunch of crystal points, Hudson the bear, the guitarist from the trews, me in two different filters, Hudson, Stella the sea eagle, derelict light house, me again and my little River filtered through the scream. Some of them are broken down to line work and give me a great basis for paintings. I think it's an excellent way to teach myself where the bones of a picture are and how to build from them
