Prim & I went to Albert Voorn this week
The entire 3 days was a culmination of every meltdown Prim could throw my way. We spooked at EVERYTHING. We circled bent to the outside because she was so worked up about the arena edging. We launched and tried to bolt when she blew a transition. When we did manage inside bend she would drop her shoulder and RUN past the scary stuff. The leg I put on so we wouldn't hit the skids at poles meant we tried to bolt on the other side of the fence. Albert was a gem. He didn't get frustrated although she acted like a 3 year old with 4 rides under her belt. By the end of the clinic she had calmed slightly and we actually got some nice jumps. Ever since she was with He Who Shall Not Be Named when Taylah tried to sell her she's lost all of her confidence. A person standing beside a fence is cause for a freak out, same as a knocked rail or a stop. I'm convinced that she was rapped or something similiar which is the biggest amount of bullshit given how scopey and careful she is naturally. I think this will be a long road.
