While yes it is a bit dated, I am appreciating Primary Inversion's play on scifi gender tropes by having its female 48 yr old cynical jaded ace pilot rescue the pretty young prince-in-distress.

also making like half its plot all about its protagonist realizing that massive internalized repressed trauma is best dealt with by actually going to therapy. yay we love to see it.
