Since Congress neglected to codify Roe v. Wade into law, how about we put the pressure on to make sure the cases that made same-sex relationships and marriages legal make it into laws?
Clarence Thomas has already admitted SCOTUS is gunning for the cases that made contraception legal as well as the cases that legalized Gay relationships and marriages. Let’s make sure they can’t take any more rights from people who shouldn’t be punished for merely existing.
We still have the right to peacefully protest, so let your local politicians know that you want these basic human rights to be made law. Maybe express how you feel about a group of unelected people striking down a legal precedent after they all swore to never do so. And come the Primaries and Midterms, cast your vote for people who actually will stand by your rights!
Remember, protest peacefully and no violence. That will hurt more than help, and I understand so many of us are angry but we need to turn that anger to something positive. Something that will make sure something like this never happens again.
