Lore Script:
LADY STARFALLEN
"Lady Starfallen isn't a legend. She's real! I saw her! Right there on Starfall Lake." "… She's gorgeous. You can't really see her face under that floppy hat, but she's all sparkly, like a big, walking crystal!" "Yeah? Get too close and she'll drench you with a water orb, then dunk you under for good measure! How do I know? Let's just say I learned the hard way." "Same here, soaked head to toe… more than once! Magic doesn't seem to work on her… Professor Rolan says you'll need a special crystal if you want to stand a chance against her." "But she's not evil, right? The school wouldn't just let her hang around otherwise…" The students of the Lyceum love to gossip about the magical being said to live on Starfall Lake. To hear them tell it, Lady Starfallen isn't evil at all. She's less a monster and more like a lonely, mischievous water sprite who spends her days splashing around by the shore. "Come on, it's only water. Nothing to be afraid of, right? Go on. Feast your eyes on the skirt woven from flowing water and the soft cap gleaming like crystal. Just indulge that curiosity of yours." Right there, on Starfall Lake…
Battle Mechanics:
Lady Starfallen
A magical creature native to Starfall Lake. Manipulates surrounding water to attack enemies. Immune to ordinary attacks.
[Lake Bash] Lady Starfallen floods the battlefield, dealing damage to all enemies.
[Lake Bash] At the 15, 45, and 75 second marks of a battle, Lady Starfallen floods the battlefield for 8s. The water then recedes after the skill ends. While the battlefield is flooded, aquatic creatures periodically leap from the water. As they fall, they deal # 120% damage to all enemies 2 times and knock them into the air for Is.
[Splashdown] Lady Starfallen forms water orbs in the air and drops them to deal damage to all enemies,
Lady Starfallen forms water orbs in the air and drops them 2s later to deal # 60% damage to all enemies 3 times.
[Ripple Veil] Lady Starfallen seals the Falling Starcore within a barrier of flowing water.
Passive. Born of nature itself, Lady Starfallen takes 99% less HP loss from all sources except the Starcore. Active. Lady Starfallen disrupts the Falling Starcore's flow of power, sealing it within a barrier of flowing water. While sealed, the Falling Starcore cannot attack, cast skills, or receive healing. The barrier has HP equal to 100% of Lady Starfallen's initial ATK and can be destroyed, but it takes 90% less damage from normal attacks.
Fallen Starcore Mechanics:
Falling Starcore
An ancient artifact discovered in Starfall Lake, it exerts a powerful influence over creatures in the lake while protecting your allies.
[Heart of the Lake] The Falling Starcore sacrifices some of its HP to strike enemies with a water orb.
Passive. The Falling Starcore inherits the team's average ATK, Phys DEF, and Magic DEF, and its HP is equal to 500% of initial Team ATK. It's immune to Lady Starfallen's attacks and to any effects that alter max HP. When a battle starts, the Falling Starcore begins in an uncharged state with only 10% of its max HP. Whenever its current HP ratio exceeds 20%, it immediately consumes 20% of its max HP to conjure a water orb and launch the orb at Lady Starfallen, dealing true damage equal to 40% of Team ATK.
[Crystal Ward] The Falling Starcore grants shields to the two units on your team with the highest healing done, making them unaffected.
Each time Lady Starfallen casts Ultimate, the Falling Starcore immediately grants shields to the two units on your team with the highest healing done. These shields absorb damage equal to 100% of Team ATK and make the shielded units unaffected for 10s.
[Frost Ring] The Falling Starcore forms a ring of ice shards around the enemy and quickly contracts
After casting Heart of the Lake 4 times, the Falling Starcore forms a ring of ice shards around Lady Starfallen and quickly contracts it, causing HP loss equal to 30% of Team ATK to her. This effect triggers up to 1 time every 15s.
Primal Lord - Cinderwings
Transcription:
Cinderwings was once a divine bird, guardian of the land. Her crimson plumage blazed like the dawn, her wings stirred whirlwinds. Yet fate gave her but one task: to guard a single sacred egg.
Day after day she circled above it. Years passed. She longed for change–companionship, a word of praise, anything. None came.
One morning, a whisper brushed her mind: "Do not guard the egg today. Look to the horizon instead."
Her wings obeyed before her will. She soared outward, bewildered, marveling at rivers, forests, mountains. She sang for joy. For the first time, she forgot her vigil.
When night fell, she returned to find black vines gnawing at the shell. Each time she strayed again, the tendrils crept higher, lashing at her back to wake her.
Half the egg was already consumed, writhing with corruption. She realized then that her ward and already fallen–abandoned the moment she looked away.
Remorse consumed her. She no longer remembered why she had flown off at all. Through the night she clawed and tore until her eyes burned red with exhaustion, clutching the tainted egg.
The divine bird no longer dreamed of mountains, rivers, or skies. She prayed only for change.
She wished for a voice that would say, "It's all right," and grant her forgiveness–or else condemn her, strike her down, and release her from her regret.
