The most memorable scene for me would be when Billy and Steve finally do the presentation in Second Thoughts; the way it all came together for me - why, specifically, you'd chosen pride and prejudice - and how it relates to them was eye-opening.
I remember squealing in my bed at like, 4am, because omg this is a literary masterpeice??? It absolutely cemented Second Thoughts as one of my all time favorite fics.

Me: Maybe it's a good thing that corporations are so rainbow. It shows that there's a profit off of openly supporting gay people. It's not the "Hey two guys just so happen to be standing next to each other. Gay people *wink wink* but also homophobes...uh...they're best buds." It's a huge fuck you to homophobes. How great is it when a homophobe can't go to like McDonald's anymore? The people filled with love are finally being accepted, and the people filled with hate are finally being isolated. Instead of the other way round.
Also me: But that's the thing. They only see us as a profit. You got companies like Netflix, that control their advertisements and let really great gay shows die, and not be taken up by other networks. But they push "Rainbow is the New Black" every June and say done is done. And then you got companies like Walmart which are the epitome of capitalism gone wrong. They are so shitty to their workers and customers and people and just rack up so much cash and give none of it away, but they think they can just hide behind a rainbow and all is forgiven. These corporations literally only care about us in June. The rest of the year, fuck us.
