We met at the UP Grandstand on July 4, 2000. I was Chair of the UP Repertory Company and it was our applicants’ orientation. She was one of the applicants of the org and they were assigned to introduce themselves by showcasing their “unique” talents. Hers was singing ABC with burp sounds. 😂 We were both butches then so she was like a baby bro to me. 😅 I was 20, she was 18. We had no idea how we’d become part of each others’ lives in the future.
