Yesterday one of my best friends did the most amazing thing and took me to my first ever pride parade/fair. It was absolutely amazing! Did it start raining, yes. Did my feet get stuck in mud quite a bit, yes. But did I get to see lots of people beaming and out and proud, I sure did! It felt so good to wear my pan colors with pride amongst so many LGBT+ community member and allies! 💙💖💛 AND I ran into Cassie Clare and Holly Black! It was so nice to see them again and actually be able to form a sentence this time haha 😂 It was such a great day that I cried a few happy tears when I got in the car to leave.
