My version of Pride15' Baltimore
History....Anthro....one in the same....maybe?
I loved going on the walking tours today and yesterday. As I was telling the group today, I loved going to these places that I've seen hundreds of times and experience them with a new perspective because of this wealth of information that we've received since starting this program.
I really enjoyed seeing the pictures of what these placed looked like decades ago. Something I've noticed about anthropology is the fact that it is very much like history, but instead of being the cartographers(like historians, you know, the ones who write it all down); anthropologists are more like the topographers(the ones who are getting their feet wet and their boots muddy). (if you catch my drift) I'm really excited to learn more about things like SPP and Bethlehem steel (hoping thats the team I'm assigned to *wink*) :D
I'll post pictures of some of the things I was most interested in, once they upload to my computer. 1200+ pictures guys. No idea how that happened without me noticing but, they'll be up soon.
