FX's docuseries about the fight for LGBTQ+ civil rights in America, "Pride," has set its full director slate and lined up a May premiere.
FX’s upcoming six-part docuseries “Pride” has announced a May 2021 premiere date! Shot in pre-pandemic 2019, @13thgenfilm‘s Marc Smolowitz produced two of six episodes of the series which begins with the 1950s and works forward through the decades, exploring stories ranging from FBI surveillance during the 1950s Lavender Scare to the “Culture Wars” of the 1990s and beyond.
The series will premiere with its first three episodes airing back-to-back on May 14. The second half of the series will air the following week on May 21.
