◢ ⧸ six similarities between mun & muse.

𝐢. We’re both horrible at guessing emotional / social cues. Like. Terrible.

𝐢𝐢. Both of us have had to live life, scared of something about ourselves.

𝐢𝐢𝐢. Both Legoshi and I love tragedies. We really do relate to those kinds of stories.

𝐢𝐯. We’re both gullible about things; not everything, but damn.

𝐯. We both dropped out of high school.

𝐯𝐢. We’re both slowly trying to figure ourselves out, and be at peace with who we are. We both also used to be alone, a lot ( see differences for other half of this ).

◢ ⧸ six differences between mun & muse.

𝐢. Legoshi is a wolf, Kravitz is a human being.

𝐢𝐢. Legoshi’s ridiculously tall and strong, Kravitz is short and not anywhere near as strong.

𝐢𝐢𝐢. Legoshi can hear much better than I can. My hearing’s not the best due to listening to music a lot growing up.

𝐢𝐯. Kravitz is nearing thirty, while Legoshi freshly turned 18 ( verse dependant ).

𝐯. Legoshi is very calm hearted and patient; Kravitz can be this way, but I also have a temper when I’m pushed too much.

𝐯𝐢. Legoshi is opening up and becoming more social and confident, meanwhile, I prefer to be by myself. Outside of some online interactions, Kravitz doesn’t really talk to people in real life or have very many friends. I also tend to not talk to many people in my day to day, even online.

“I’m not nervous,” Louis deflected immediately, his ears angling back. “This is just…” Not something I’m used to. How embarrassing would it be to admit to this rabbit that he had never kissed anyone before her (he didn’t count the caribou female who had sneaked one from him back in junior high)? “I wasn’t expecting it,” he announced at last, as if this was any kind of recovery.

As if he hadn’t tried to kiss her first, and right after shedding his antlers, too! If she were a doe, she would have laughed at him. Bad enough to be called Bambi.

The nurse told him that the way he had abused the fracture in his leg after receiving it had extended his recovery time considerably, particularly after his stunt the night before, taking the stage to break up the fight between Legoshi and Bill. He had gotten permission to leave the infirmary to view the second night of Adler, not to toss his crutches and engage in swordplay on stage.

This time, she had set firm restrictions on his movement--he was not to leave the infirmary for the next three days, until he had given his injury enough time to settle.

He had gotten Shiira to bring some of his textbooks so he could study, but his mind wasn’t really in it. At least the second night of the play had gone off well, despite the craziness. He had put aside the article on local government he had been reading to instead flip through his worn-out copy of Eugene Onegin when the sound of footsteps approached. It wasn’t the nurse, and no one had come to visit since Shiira brought his books by, so it caught his attention and he immediately looked up.

THOSE TEENAGED WOLVES

“Haru-chan...” they were alone, now. Alone, much after the hotel, much after Legoshi had finally confessed to her. She was talking about that night, when she had tried to leap into his mouth instinctively. He felt horrible about it, guilted– what if she hadn’t caught herself in time??

No. Don’t think that way. She was telling him that it wasn’t his fault. Legoshi didn’t need to feel guilt. But, did that mean she did? Was she blaming herself? His ears flattened a bit. Legoshi was careful to bend down, knelt on the ground, and embrace her. No one else could see this; they were up in the gardens. By themselves.

He would never have hugged her in public, he wouldn’t want to embarrass her. He wanted her to know that he cared for her. Truly. He might not be good at words, but, he could do this much, at least.
