Prey 2022 is a fucking masterpeice end of discusion. If you love sci-fi, action, historical settings BADASS FEMALE COMANCHE LEAD watch it. As a white person who has NOT studied Comanche culture I cant say how accurate it is (if you are a Comanche person and have thought please share I would love to know) to thier culture but all the extras are POC , except for the french ones obvi, and it seems to avoid all the stereotypical hollywood, spaggeti western tropes. Amazing cinematogaphy and fight choreography with visuals to SLAP YOUR TITS OFF.

Mr Myers is back once again and After months of speculation, hopefullness and bad taste for the fans the 5th entry of the predator franchise PREY is finally here to stream. Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, "Prey" is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to the Predator. In coming into this film I was hopeful, but my concern still remained, overall PREY is a predator film done right... In most cases. It still has its issues but its not really enough to hurt the film in its entirety, PREY does brings a fresh take to the franchise, with its setting and direction, as being noted as a prequel to the 80s original it gives off a familiar vibe, but also new approach to the predator lore and its portrayal. The pacing however seems a bit off in some cases, as though we've skipped a good 15 minutes of film or so, but this can be considered a benefit as it doesn't dwell on any explanation, and more or less goes straight into the suspense and thrills. Through performances our lead actress Amber Midthunder delivers a strong quality in her character, although not much is really explored in her character apart from wanting to be a hunter herself and the means to Prove it, this can be said to the rest of the characters, not much to go on unfortunately and quite 2 dimensional.
