So the story about the pacer test reminded me of a drill we do in Volleyball
Okay, so lets say that there's 10 girls (or guys whatever, it's an all girl team so) on the team. Technically, we had like, 14, but anyways.
There would be 9 volleyballs on the end of the court. Coach calls go, we all run to get a ball. Unlucky number 10 doesn't get a ball, and looses that round. All fine and dandy, right? Means they don't have to run any more.Â
Nope. They have to do burpies until everyone else is done. Burpies are (if you didn't know) where you jump with your hands up, pop down, do a pushup, pop your legs up back and stand up in a jump, before repeating. That is one.
And we're not allowed to pace ourselves either, it's full out, both ways, every time.
