I am! True story: I left St. Louis for (affordable) college, and people had zero idea what gooey butter cake was. I sometimes found it in cafes and bakeries as a ‘gourmet/regional’ food and it cracked me up.
It’s so cool to find someone else from the same area (and someone who know the joy of gooey butter cake.)
