Ain't A Fable
Unintentionally I found this quote in facebook’s news feed. So tragic, yet it’s intensely true..
“Man sacrifices his health in order to make money, then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future, that he does not enjoy the present. The result of being that, he does not live in the present or in the future. He lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies never really lived.” -- Dalai Lama
So typical mankind. But somehow, I don’t refuse that I’m one of them. And I think, being grateful for our current condition is the best way to elude this pathetic story. Like Po said, “today is a gift, that’s why we call it ‘present’.
All we have to do is optimize present. Just wait patiently and see, a good future will cordially come to us. Aamiin..
