Wolf had heard people nag and complain about the tight corners they were all faced to live together in. He had been used to sharing a house with his siblings and parents for so many years that he thought he could handle it. When he moved in with the Veterans, he shrugged away the hazards of it all, thinking he would settle in just nicely. He could’ve, if it hadn’t been for the people. Not all of them really agreed with him. Some really, really bothered him, and he tried to stay inside for as long as he could, making himself useful by making cafe and entertaining the kids, but there was only so much his mind could handle. 

After carefully disappointing a kid of about five, Wolf fled towards the door, picking up his shotgun as he went, ignoring the surprised looking man at one of the doors, who was bound to call him back for going outside. It was around midday, so they didn’t need a whole lot of eyes outside, and he wasn’t on rotation, on account of being too young and too inexperienced. He had almost gotten his way when he asked the Veterans to convince the angry looking fellow to include him, until he had made some snarky comment and got yelled at. Nothing new really. Only difference with being an open ranger was the fact that they had no horses nor large open fields. He was still being told to quiet himself, and not allowed to make any decisions for himself. Even when he argued that at seventeen, Wolf was a grown man. 

He opened the door and carefully closed it behind him, hoping not to alert any more people about his sneaking about. When he turned he found that the spot on the porch had already been taken by a slender looking man, with long hair and a gun of his own... wait. Man wasn’t right. He looked again, finding his first instinct had been wrong: it was a woman, not a man. He edged closer and sat down on the porch overlooking the silent town, however, his eyes were still trained on the look-out. “’cuse me miss. Would’ya mind if I sat down here. I won’t be much of a bother, promise.” Lies, Wolf did not know how to shut up if his interest was peeked.
