Also, Nakkai herself really doesn't see her life as sad, as much as she thinks it was adventurous but also filled with childhood mistakes. She more has a sad adulthood.

Also, you can absolutely try and be her friend. You should step back to make sure she can see you. If you get too close, she might not see you from under her pectorals. (😭😂)

i find writing in first person to be a rather, “cringey fanfic” style. and i can barely stomach reading it personally.

the one shot is meant to be fem! reader x Jaehyun, but i wrote all of Predator and Perspective to be in this style, kind of like a tv show you could watch. like you were watching yourself on the screen. or watching a dream from the outside, or hearing a terrifying story from a friend. it’s an important stylistic choice that i made to offer an overal vibe for the whole series. (and much of my writing.)

the point of all of Predator and Perspective was to play with what might happen with power imbalances in relationships, in a high risk lifestyle and environment. the style of it was to feel like you were maybe watching (or living) a true crime show, full of lies and manipulation. i did a lot of research into psychopaths, serial killers, and real mafia men for the series.

my main regret with Predator and Perspective is that it is all an x female reader, and nearly all of my work since then has been gender neutral.

i really wanted to induce a feeling of anxiety in that, the idea of being hunted. and then after all of the running, finally being too weak to protest, and simply giving in. 

i believe Predator remainds my most popular thing on this blog. a lot of people really like it, but they rarely share why. i really appreciate this, as i now know which parts stick with you and why you like it. thank you for stopping by anon.
