Another interesting part of the set up is that it is highly integrated into existing technologies like our personal phones. As shown in the video, customers would be able to have a recipe and get exactly as much as is needed in the recipe or through a specific amount that has been preselected. Precycling to me is an interesting concept because it limits the waste output from the start. Although we would like to think that as a society we can make a change, it is also the responsibility of companies such as these to create systems in which there is less production in the larger scope.

Although this is still only a concept, it seems like designers had a very important part to play in this. These people are designers of not only the product, but are also designers of society and its struggle with waste. By doing something like this and thinking outside of the box in such a way, it feels like some of the issues that we face everyday can slowly start to be solved when given the opportunity to be thought about.
