I've been having more precognitions than usual, and this time they're mainly positive events! It feels great to have positive visions and for them to come true. Is anyone else feeling particularly open/intuitive? I'm glad, and part of me wonders if it's because I got rid of a HUGE mental, physical, and spiritual block recently.
My Dream Journal Setup
Dream journals are a fun way to track your nightmares, dreams, and potential precognitions/revelations. I have a particular setup I use whenever I want to write down what I dreamt of the night before, and thought I would share it after I saw a post someone made asking for advice and thoughts on dream journals. This is one of my 13 DIYs!
Here is my template for detailed and vivid dreams, along with a super condensed makeup example:

It's super simple, but I find it to be perfect for analyzing my dreams. Since it lays everything out very clearly, I am better able to look at it critically, and decide if it was something meaningful to me, or simply a strange dream my brain crafted. Some dreams/nightmares may be precognitions/revelations, while others simply allude to things you have been wishing for or worrying about. I donāt have separate templates for nightmares and dreams, because I have a hard time distinguishing the two when they are so full and vivid. I rarely have positive dreams anyway, so this just makes my life easier.
Below is a simplified version for dreams you hardly remember, but want to record anyway. This is for those times when you just want to jot things down really quick, and don't have all the information to folk the above chart. It's basically just squished so you can fit more information in one category. Not every category will have all of the info sometimes, and this is when this template is most applicable:

I recommend making your journal in google drive or another online format, simply because you can move and change things so much easier than physical copies, and you're more likely to write it down thoroughly on a virtual document because it doesn't hurt your hands as much... And you can jump around without having to erase and rewrite things.
However, binders are a good option if you prefer a physical notebook. You could always print off the dream journal entry, too!
To organize my journal, I have a few folders. The first one is simply titled "Dream Journal". This is followed by one folder labeled "Templates" and some labeled with the year in which the dreams were recorded, ex: "2017" and "2018". The templates I have on this post are in the templates folder.
In the year folders are the months in which the dreams take place. I make these as the months come, that way I donāt have empty folders. Within those are separate documents for each dream, titled with the date they occurred.
You can organize your journal however you want, and use any template you like, or none at all. Find what works best for you!
