Hawthorn is shade-tainted, however, he has made an alliance with the shade. The shadeling that inhabits his body allows him to amplify the power of his magic and uses it to woo other dragons into relationships with him. Once they’re close, he leads them away from the clan and into their demise. This helps feed both the shade’s power and his thirst for vengeance.

Saevus raised Alexander since he was small. She views him along with many others as her child. Alexander doesn’t quite view her as a mother, however. The two share very similar moralities, though Alexander is more willing to commit immoral acts for his own selfishness than the guardian. For example, if the love of his life were in danger, he would be willing to do any means necessary to bring her back to safety-even if it meant killing Saevus.

Ventus was revived by his patron deity from the wreckage of a statue that was once his body. As a statue, his vocal chords and back wings were damaged. He cannot speak and cannot fly without assistance. His back wings have small kite-like appendages where his lings should be that act as substitutes. He makes it a point to turn the kites into canvases of sorts-it’s just something that brightens up his day.

Overworking and stressing yourself out can really do a number on anybody. It's healthy to take some time out of your day to relax and do what you want to do. Andromeda can't ever seem to get that opportunity. She's high-strung and forces herself to smile-else she'll snap at others with harsh words of hatred. She's never really had a true friend she can vent to, as when she was young most of the other hatchlings would either tattle or spread rumors about her. She honestly needs a vacation.

Eldan's game plan is pretty close to that. He acts like a priest, but his supported 'diety' always changes depending on who he's talking to. He'll ask for 'donations' from gullible dragons with the promise that something good will happen if they do. If confronted about it, he'll tell you that you simply just need to put a bit more 'faith' into the deity-and be patient. It'll come eventually.

Plaguebringer is confused but warily supports her little priestess' relationship. You can bet your ass Plaguebringer’s gonna be the one with a shotgun at Ventus’ doorstep if Lailyn ends up with an egg or five.

Vetus’s full name is Vetus Deus, which means “Old God” in latin according to google translate. They used to be among the deities and was close with Beastclan, but sickness and storms destroyed their people’s lives and homes. They used their body to surround the remainder of their people and defend the young ones, but they perished in the process. Today’s Beastclan is nothing like what they were familiar with and they are no longer connected like they once was.

When Avarren first showed up in the clan, he was hesitant to even join. He was a weary traveller without a home that nearly died in the surrounding desert around the clan’s home. Kyandi brought him back to the clan and asked the others to help him, the majority said yes. Avarren actually pined after Kyandi briefly but found both a better partner and friend in Saccharo-who was trying to help Ava get it through Kyandi’s thick skull that they like-liked him. They never did, but fortunately, it no longer applies.
