Those wheels are really high up. I want everyone to hold their hands up that high and pretend to be pushing themselves in a wheelchair. Y’all feel all that tension? Feel how your elbows feel? Not ideal. But it looks badass. Maybe next time just give her some padded swing-away arm rests. Or some adjustable single-post with integrated side guard. Single-post arm rests look badass and can go up and down depending on how badass you need to be vs how much you need to move.

More Birds of Prey from just around the turn of the millennium. Once I go through my screenshot backlog, I will cite these properly, but I have too many shots already saved to go back and do it.

Consistent and really quite good wheelchair here. We even get push rims. I’m also awarding points for taking the two things less likely to spill, the coffee pot and the milk, over to the table to prep the cup of coffee, the thing much more likely to spill. Took me months to realize that’s easier than wheeling an open cup of coffee across a room.

I didn’t log the issue number or the artist’s names, but even if I had them, I wouldn’t be calling anyone out by name. But this is clearly someone referencing an image of a model sitting down, and then they drew the wheelchair around that pose. And so we have

oh wow

A very, very wide, cambered wheelchair, with the wheels possibly not attached to the actual frame, with two little bitty foot plates that are just OUT THERE, and then a seat about 4x the width of Barb’s butt. As much as I’d love to have my wheelchair change size and dimensions to fit whatever pose I wanted to execute, sadly, not the case in reality.

Hey look! Push rims!

I like this chair. It looks like your standard hospital chair, and in the story my understanding is that this is a sort of temporary thing. But if you look at where the axle of the rear wheels is, it's pretty far forward. As y'all know, I love me a good forward CG. This one is so far forward that I feel like your chair salesperson would really want you to buy anti-tippers, too, but it's fine, honestly.
