One of them is an edge case as the "book" was a short story e-book that included both the English and Mandarin Chinese versions that is not the version I ordered, but it was free since I had a gift card, so whatever. last book: I am not enjoying reading much lately but trying to get through The Absent One by Jussi Adler Olsen. Generally Scandinavian crime novels are always good for me, but meh. I’m also listening to maggie haberman’s book about trump, because I’m a masochist

last movie: I have a few I’m looking forward to but tbh I can’t remember the last one I saw

last tv show: I binged New Girl, and that’s a lot of tv

last thing i googled: it was how to pronounce word, because maggie haberman pronounced a word where I thought wait a minute, that’s not right. She used the British pronunciation, which is really not done in the US unless you are a Brit (she is not)

currently looking forward to: a protest, a visit from a friend, the end of the school year, a new movie from PT Anderson, spring, which hasn’t really arrived yet in the PNW, planting a peony when it warms up more, going to a nursery with my gardening friend and to happy hour with my beer drinking friend, doing some writing after a long hiatus. It’s quite possible, as many of you know, to be both terrified and also really enjoying life
