A little bit about yourself:
I’m a junior at James Madison University but there isn’t a TASA there. I really felt disconnected and would constantly see my friends post about their TASAs, making me really want to get involved. I am involved with JMU’s Asian Student Union but it still isn’t the same, so here I am! I really love going back to Taiwan and have been back for the last few summers to do various programs like AID Summer (ayy 2014 crew) and Taiwan Tech Trek (shout out to my NTSEC 2015 squad). One of the best things about these programs is making friends so I can’t wait to meet y’all at the conferences!!

A little bit about yourself:
Freshman year, I was at Case Western Reserve University and was Freshman Representative for TASA. Shout out to my lovely CWRU! This year, sophomore year, I transferred to the University of Pennsylvania and am a current member of PTS. Love binge watching dramas and animes while eating yummy Asian snacks. Also a pretty avid K-Pop fan and gamer (League of Legends cough cough). Favorite Taiwanese Drama is Autumn’s Concerto (下一站). A close second would be Pleasantly Surprised (喜欢·一个人). I grew up in the lovely state of Ohio in the Midwest (and no not everything in Ohio is cornfields). Ohio is so chill that our winters are the worst. I’m not Taiwanese but I have been to Taipei and have to say, it is definitely one of the best places I’ve been to thus far. Excited to be on board and excited to see all of your lovely faces at conference! ^^

A little bit about yourself: I was born in Illinois, but grew up in South Carolina and Hong Kong. I was introduced to ITASA through my older sister, Victoria who recently graduated from Wellesley College and was also on ITASA NB for 3 years. I like any and all music, but I’m also a pretty big fan of K-Pop. I go back home to Hong Kong every summer and for winter break, and visit Taiwan regularly as well. Most of my time outside of class is spent with my service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega and sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and I used to dance a lot.
