After all that has happened, this is all I can wonder and hope for, for our future. Where is the love? If we had this then we would not have lost any lives this last Friday. The children that did not have a chance to fulfill their dreams had to witness so much evil and their lives were ended too soon. These children were children that once said, "I want to be president some day," "I'm going to be a strong firefighter like my daddy," or, "I'm going to become a singer when I grow up." Instead, they had their dreams stripped from them because of a moment of weakness of one being. It pains me that they could not reach Christmas day along with the rest of their lives.
My father has said this to me once before, "the saddest thing for any parent is from them to have to outlive their own children." Parents should not have to bury their children nor should young children have to bury their parents. Twenty-seven lives were lost in one day. All we can do is pray for all the people involved or effected by this tragic event and lean on God to make everything right again.Â
Pray for Newtown.
