Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go over there and #pray.” (Matthew 26:36, ESV) Christ was getting ready to endure the worst unfathomable pain ever thought of by humanity during this time of prayer. He could have been #complaining about His impending assignment, but He chose to pray instead. Jesus' heavenly Father helped Him to settle down and focus on the arduous tasks ahead.
