VALENCIA, NEGROS ORIENTAL -- It's a historical grass fire in Purok Salanticon, Brgy. Caidiocan, Valencia City today. The fire was started at 10am (Manila local time), as according to a BFP (Bureau of Fire Protection) SFO1 Rock Anthony Ordonez, in partnership with the MDRRMC (Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council).

A couple of fire trucks was quickly responded on-the-spot. The fire was out around 4-6hrs. later. Based from the fire investigation, he was illegally throwing a cigarette butt with an unnamed suspect that lits the fire almost an hour before; which resulted to increase it's later chances of wildfire. No one was injured or killed from the grass fire.

Speaking to our Station Manager, Radyo Patrol #4 reporter and a half-Science expert: Princess Twilight Sparkle told OneNETnews... The hot weather was the only result to start a wildfire, using a smaller amount of fire with a cigarette butt. The sun exposes the whole Salanticon area, matches with a single object. The temperature may be burnt the object to °4c for a few minutes.

Immediately after that, a single Sun relays the fire in an object (Cigarette Butt) a little bit for °40c, better than an oven toaster; because of the summer season is in severe effect between the Prayer Mountain.

That said, it has been reported to 10 grass fires in a row during the Month of April this year. The fire won't be affected the entire residential area. Period.
