Story Summary:
To begin his investigation, Gibbs decides to attend one of Prasio's weekend performances. Here, he meets Buster, an amicable bartender of the Theater, who appears to be a little uneasy about the upcoming show. Gibbs doesn't have a chance to press him on why, as he's got his hands full serving other guests, so he returns throughout the following week to chat. He learns that of the people who have disappeared, the majority of them had personally slighted Prasio in some way or had been his competition, and all of them had last been seen not just in his Casino, but in the Theater specifically.... There has also been increasingly strange buzzing noises coming from all of the light fixtures, which have gained a much more golden hue as of late.
The Theater is a frequently recurring environment that all three main characters find themselves in, and it also happens to be where the climax of the story occurs. Gibbs discovers that Prasio has been turning select guests into various bugs to serve his Casino (lighting bugs for lighting, ants for construction, spiders for repair, etc.) via "bugged" drinks that Buster had been making. Prasio had kept him in line with threats of him and his family/friends being next, but once Gibbs came along, Buster saw his chance at freedom from Prasio. Together, Gibbs and Buster figure out how to free the transformed guests and reverse the effects of the "bugging". Once everyone is free, they turn on Prasio. Heās last seen running for his life. It's left unclear if Prasio survived, but his Casino, Hotel, and Theater are all shut down due to infestation.
Additionally, each student drew a tarot card from the deck and had to adapt it to their story. I had the luck of getting the magician :)
An interpretation of the magician, when reversed, is that you have all of the right tools to succeed and achieve your goals, but youāre misusing them to do so. Right goals, wrong methods. So I made Prasio be facing away from the viewer, having him be permanently reversed no matter how you draw his card.
A secondary post with the physical sculpts and builds I did for this will be coming soon :)
